Well, It's getting better! Looks very scary now...
As other people pointed out, there needs to be some structure or height in the Texture. You can use Dodge/Burn in Photoshop for this.
It's got potential so... use it! Cheesy

It needs shadows and highlights and such. All it is at the moment is just solid skin.

Use the dodge and burn tools to simulate light and shadow on the face of the model. Remember, this isn't the source engine. Gldsrc lacks all the sophisticated lighting effect that render dodge/burn useless, don't be afraid of the burn!

I'm confused, since I did add shadow to the most recent render.  Could you please specify, if you mean in another place other than where I did, where I should add shadow?

Yes, it's getting really plastic(?) now.!!! I assume you used the burn function more than the dodge? Because now, the face looks a bit dark!

I think it looks good. The exagerated darkness will actualy look good with the games focus on darkness. Good job.
