Really old video. I saw this at least two years ago. I have this one and several others from HL:E stored on my hard drive. I drag them out every so often and watch them again in hopes of a release date. Its gonna rule.

I know, I know... WHEN ITS DONE.  Tongue

I hope that HL:E switches to DiamonD's Half-Life Pack, since right now it looks like it's using the default HD pack, and that's not a good thing. I mean, even in that recent-ish video of the Osprey the weapons are still default HD. Sad

I'd like to see OP4 Redux models on wonrz's HEV hands. Looks like some OP4 weapons are going to be in this mod according to that video.

To be honest, I doubt they're going to change what they've got. The HD weapons probably fit best with Half-Life's theme, anyway. (Apart from the LD ones, of course.)

As for the weapons, I'd try to lean toward the original more. I actually disagree on using HD models. There are plenty of better models around and reach the credentials of the Half-Life classic feel.

EDIT: oh shi- just realized this was HL:E, not HL:S HD.

The current plan is to remake some of the weapons with a more classic feel than the HD pack. Of course, this depends on whether the models get done in time.

We actually have the model source files set up so we can simply replace one smd file, and any later compile of any weapon model will use the updated arms (at least, as far as i know) so changing the arms on the v models isnt really a big issue.

Changing HEV arm skins in Source its actually alot easier than Gold, since it's a simple VFT exchange.

What does that have to do with Half-Life: Enhanced?
