Blah
just reinstalled the game. same thinghave you tried turning off steam and then running the bat file? I remember there was a problem with accessing GCF files while steam was still running
If you guys are starting for scratch it's no surprise, programmers love doing shit from zero. I could give a hand with modeling if you have a texture artist that can do texture from scratchFrom scratch to some degree we're using an engine but it's more of a graphics library than a fully fledged one, the engine in is Ogre.
What's the registry page like right now? It's been a while since I've been there, did it have any anti-bot features (like a captcha, though there are probably ways to circumvent that)?captcha is very easy to beat now a days. It's pretty hard to stop bots
I noticed it but I honestly don't know what the occasion is supposed to be.as one of the original instigators of it I can't even remember think we just shoved headcrabs on our avatars
....
xD
Yeah yeah.
Well, the new CoD anyways.
The original CoD series (1+ 2 at least) were half decent.
Then Treyarch got their grubby paws on the series, "made" CoD3 and then IW did MW1 (which was good) then Treyarch did WaW (which I havent played) and then we got this load of shit called MW2 (which sucks) that makes most 12 year olds' have their first orgasm and normal and people that know something about the military facepalm so hard it almost breaks their nose.
its got ironsights lolThe story and script of COD games are action movies written through the eyes of a five year old where it's literally just an attempt to put as many explosions and bad ass moments on screen as humanely possible. As for MW2 its storyline was like a really bad tom clancy novel, one that would make him spin in his grave even though he's currently alive
Seriously tho?
MW1 was teh shit. The campaign was believable and varied, there being at least a few missions for everyone.
I (pirated) MW2 to kill some time. The campaign got loltastic about the time Shepperd goes "lolbrits" and kills off half of TF141... tho the entire campaign is I'm a huge unfunny manchild, do not listen to me.y. I mean... Russians driving through a Maryland town and shooting up civie homes for teh I'm a huge unfunny manchild, do not listen to me.? Srs. The game portrays all Russians as TEH EBIL BADD GAIZ and America as TEH POOR GOOD GAIZ. (Srs)
Mostly I play MP for the same reason I play CSS - sometimes, I just want to kill people using a specific weapon. That, and I got it for free. >![]()
I havent gotten BO, but from what I've heard, it's good. I'm not going to buy it, but I've heard it's fairly good... granted the guy I heard from is... not the best.. but oh well.
Sweaty 12 year olds get too obsessed with CoD, and that's stopped me from even touching MW1, which I'm considering doing; MW2 not as much. Black Ops sounds frighteningly linear. I was talking to my brother (who always compare CoD to Half-Life; he thinks HL is dumb because you don't use iron sights.) ...every time I get something decent to criticize about it he shoves it off and starts raving about how the new game uses currency instead of levelling up. Eh.because grinding is actually a fun gameplay mechanic and isn't something that's simply used by marketing to increase the longevity of the game because 14 year olds like shiny things
Why would you have to be ripped to use two handguns? Why would you carry two handguns to begin with? It's a challenge in itself to hit stationary targets in a proper stance in ideal conditions.hence my jerk off with your offhand comment, need to be ambidextrous to even have the slightest hope of using two guns effectively and even then it's more showing off than actually effective
Also ideally, you'd want a sidearm and a rifle to use the same type of ammunition, and something common. A B&T MP5 series weapon, along with a Beretta 92FS or Glock 17 would be a good choice. You can't have large weapons encumbering you. Also the FN2000 is not all it's cracked up to be. That's the last weapon I would take with me to the end of the world.
I would just use what I already have, no need to complicate things with "oh, well I'd break into this gunstore and grab some bazookas and be on my way". Mossberg 590a1 + Glock 17. The shotgun is a multipurpose weapon due to the variety of ammunition I own for it, making it an exception to the large weapon rule. The Glock is more of a panic weapon if your primary is dry and there is something closing on you. I'd probably also keep the M8 bayonet on the Mossberg at all times, since a lot of the would-be enemies are hand-to-hand and close range.
Probably skip my plate carrier because it's largely unnecessary against enemies using energy weapons. Since the world has not exploded, I wouldn't be overly concerned with carrying tons of food and water--that can be acquired in a multitude of ways. I'd probably limit my loadout to 15 KG, and peripherals can go in the car.
Lol, yeah, only 15. By the time I'd hypothetically be carrying this, I'd be ripped and 25.better start jerking with your left hand if you want any chance of using two guns at once(or right if you're one of those)
Sarge: Kinda, Kyler and I were talking about Zombieland and it spawned into this. :3
Gotta love the second amendment, amiright?
The thing that bugs me is all the taxes on this stuff. To actually be able to easily afford all this is a bit too much for my taste.
I've never seen the P99 before. Looks nice.
Ever fired a gun?
I think that Daza is right to a degree, there are a lot of games released that don't support modding, since games are mostly released multi-platform the PC versions end up being more ports from the console with no modding support. It's more of an indie craze these days, with UDK, unity and other freesource engines about, there isn't that much of an incentive for modding as there is for just creating your own game. There are still modding capabilities with newer engines, especially X-Ray and Cryengine 2 (3?), but the community is not thriving as much as it once did.
PS: Source editing is gay.
You best be trollin'Perhaps but the massive boon it got during the era of Half-Life and Counter-Strike is long gone hardly any games support mods and very few game companies support modders with the majority of them persecuting them either for messing with their 'vision', their love of lawyers and copyright laws or due to the 'pro gaming' scene having a massive collective whine when counter-strike modding was all the craze and dumb idiots claimed that people were getting an advantage over others which lead to increased security measures (sv_pure). Other devs decided to just get rid of modding entirely from their games so now you pretty much have to hack the bloody things to get anywhere with it.
Modding is far from dead.
