We are also on Discord now; would love to see some HIT people join us. Lots of familiar faces here already!

At the risk of thread bumping, we are celebrating our 10th year of operation this month, hope to get a post up on HLC over the next few days.

Cheers to all that still check here. You guys are awesome.

Conversation / Re: HIT Model Depot
« on: December 07, 2011, 05:35:01 PM »
Hello everybody, and welcome back to the H.I.T Model Depot. This site will serve as a database consisting of mainly Half-Life replacement models. As time expands, perhaps we will add more models for other expansion packs and mods, but as it stands this is mostly for Half-Life.

Bear with us as we begin to upload files and get the site started. It will take some time and effort to get an extensive database of files present, so be patient and you will have many to choose from. If you would like to suggest a feature or file for the site, or leave a comment, or to ask a question, you can either post in this thread.

Who the hell might you be?

Why isn't this an MP5 compile, that way the lack of M203 and the aimpoint make sense. :-X

All the holes in your compiles are easily fixable...

You need to spend more time on your compiles.

The smoothing is horrible and there are even bits of the old MP5 still in the model file as well as the textures making the file size larger for no reason...

I want to like this, but its loaded with some problems:

-Improperly mirror
-Holes around the slide and rear sight due to assignment errors
-Worse than Kyler smoothing on the pistol

Not much to really say about this one...

Kyler, those hands are shit by all standards.

The reason we are pissed off Daza is that we cannot find the reasons you banned these people for in the rules topic which links have been whored at the top of the page for the last few months. If playing by those rules, which I will henceforth refer to as "official" can still put us in danger due to the other set of rules which I will label the "inivisible rules", then how are we supposed to react? Yes D3ads, DiamonD and probably the next guy will be friends of mine, but I can acknowledge when a friend has overstepped their boundaries, but the cases against these members do no stand up against the official rules.

So when you warn people like Ackart for speaking their mind, where is this against the official rules? Is this more from the invisible list that no forum goer knows about? Quite frankly, after the weak reasons given in the previous cases, I was suprised not to see him banned as well. I have spoken to Matt about this and told him this was causing division in the community but I'll say it here in public.

It would be in your best interest to let this thread play out to see if a resolution can come forth instead of closing it and throwing it in the Hall of Shame to be overruled and ignored.
