It works, however the animations do not work with svencoop well. They play properly, and look good in World and  Player views, but it looks more like the player is waving a silver sausage at the enemy when in first person.

I have included within the file various sounds from various sources. None of which i could find any copyright on, so they should all be good should you decide to include them in the final version if you undertake the job.

Hello gents and gentets!

I was recently playing The Battlegrounds (a HL1 Modification taking place in the revolutionary war era) and realized that the saber from that game, or any saber in general would make a great pipe wrench replacement. I was curious if anybody would be willing to port it over and apply regular HEV hands to it and possibly overhaul the animations. The pre-existing player view model would not need converting as i have experimented with this, but no W_model exists, nor a v_model that would both fit with the game and supply adequate animations.
