Modular Combat MODDB page
This mod is mix of HL2DM and RPG but in very nice and addicting shape.Lots of abilities to choose from, from cloak to teleportation(its yet unballanced but its one of them), and minions of course! But dont think it will be hard to level up.There is three gamemodes to choose from, FFA, DM and..PVM.Now lets get a bigger way on describing them. But to start..i will quote description of HEV Mark VI.

Quote
HEV Mark VI
From Modular Combat Wiki

The HEV Mark VI is based on the HEV Mark V suit worn by Gordon Freeman during the events taken place in Half-Life 2. It has been modified to have near limitless opportunities to modifications. Through use of modules, combatants are able to change the way they fight entirely. Each combatant is entirely unique from the next, thanks to their HEV Mark VI suits.
Features

    * Your suit will keep track of your modules, experience gained, and other valuable data.
    * Near limitless opprotunities for upgrades.
    * Removed regenerating Aux Power battery in favor for increased efficiency
    * Improved Sprinting module comes standard with any suit. Increased energy efficiency (will no longer drain all your energy).
    * Flashlight is self-powered. No longer drains Aux Power.

Modules are really nice too and lots of them. You have ones that improve you, or make you regenerate ammo/hp.But there is also some that drain power of suit like cloak or some other ones. And of course there is modules to spawn minions for your defence.

Monsters appearing in PVM are highly nice too.
Here is list of ones that i seen in game...
Fast zombie
Zombie
Poison zombie
Vortigaunt
Antlion
Antworker ( doesnt require EP2)
Manhack

And of course, every NPC has its own levels, ranging from high level monsters to low level suckers.

And to top it all, there is a smart-ass/jack-ass PC called BoSS that controlls whole arena.

Me and Toadie tried it and its really addicting gamemode.Try yourself!:D

It's for Half-Life Two, which runs on the Source engine, hence "Source Releases".

HL2 mods don't work in HL1.
