Are you dyslexic or blissfully ignorant? I'm saying the problem is they quite literally released the first game and started straight away on the sequel(Valve even stated that in the article on Kotaku(or whatever), they did this rather than actually supporting the original game and put zero effort into adding custom campaign support or even new campaigns in general, these were things they promised would happen soon after release.

I wasn't commenting directly to you, if you look at the thread you see a lot of people mindless saying it's just shit. I acknowledge your comment although unfortunately I don't agree. They will be continuing to support Left 4 Dead, releasing what they promised.

So by now most are familiar with Left 4 Dead 2's new special infected the Charger.



Now Left 4 Dead 2 is shipping with an free bottle of eye bleach, and a guarantee to put an end to your love life.

Yes it's real.. it's called the spitter..
It makes a hacking sound before spitting out what appears to be a ball of mutated phlegm, which upon hitting the ground spreads out similar to a Mortar
 round and changes from a sickish green gas like substance to blood red. Any survivors within the area receive small quantities of damage over time.
Yes it's supposed to be playable also.

I made a special zombie for a mod I was doing concepts for back in 2005 that looked just like the charger... Oh well lol.

I just got through the demo. It's fucking awsome. The machete is so satisfying! The gore is awsome!

Yeah... so have several million gamers... It's too awesome.
Found an addon that ads Vs style gameplay in the demo, I thought it was going to be bland but damn better then L4D 1.

3 other friends and I did the whole buy four copies for 130 bucks and I didn't really play the game till last night and ironically, no matter how much I thought it was GOING to be bad, its fun and the the modes are really awesome. And yes, chainsaws make you feel like Leatherface.

Hi there,I have been playing it all week on pc as i got it early but bought it today for xbox. I have completed all campaigns and versus. Left 4 dead 1 is better and with that you can just play and get on and enjoy yourself.With number 2 i feel it is all strategy, tasks and boring.What's your views?

L4D2 > L4D and twice as much so when they implement the old characters in the DLC.

I liked the old cast better.

What I'm waiting for is L4D getting ported to L4D2.

(Or someone to port the original 1911s to L4D2. the SIGs are uuugly. 3: )

Although it does bug me that two (three counting the deagle) different calibre weapons share the same (albeit theoretical) ammo pool.

The Glock + SIG P220/P226 both use 9mm ammo. O.o

Or, they come in 9mm. I mean, if you want to really nitpick.... sure, they do use different mags, but... that's really petty. :v

Doesn't bother you in HL, does it?

Not in HL because that's two different weapons sharing the ammo pool, not two secondaries that you use at the same time.

Thing is, they both share the same ammo, unless you're talking about mags.

Glock 17 is a 9x19 weapon and the SIG P220/P226 come in 9x19, and several other calibers.

Still, I'd prefer the 1911s. They just... look.. better, even with the fact the light is either glued or welded onto the frame. 3:

Alternately, I'd love the option to use a pair of Glocks or a pair of SiGs instead of a SiG + a Glock.
