voice chatting system

can anyone tell me if theres a voice chat system (talking with your voice) for half life 1 that does it automatically when you speak like the source engine im talkign about the gldsource engine half life 1, thanks

You can use microphones in multiplayer. I think it works similar to xbox live.

Wait you mean the mic turns on after a certain loudness threshold has passed? I dunno any for GoldSrc.
I use Mumble though, which has it. I tend to play with people who also have it so it works out.

Ventrilo tends to be quite popular with a lot of multiplayer gamers, and it supports what you're asking for. Alternatively, you can use Skype.
