Discover the new Hugo Boss' collection.
« on: September 03, 2010, 08:44:49 PM »

Hey everybody.
It happened, I'm bored. And I've got nothing to do, I don't feel like talking to anyone over the chats, so I'm posting here to kill time. This is a new model collection I'm working on, yet "oh god, nazis again" another NSDAP model pack.

Include new high definition textures (five 512x512 textures) easly customizable in a .pdf format. You can add/remove medals or change insignas/shoulder tabs in one click.
The picture is posted here for you to give me your opinion, be constructive please. More pictures are going to come, I'm still working on it, and minding about releasing them or not.

I must say for the source standards it looks really good.
You made it from scratch?

Mostly, yeah. The base model was a RTCW guard model:
I entirely remade the geometry in MS3D, made new textures and such. I only kept the cap, but made a new texture for it. (And kept the horrible hands, that I must work on it)
The face isn't from me, I'm not much skilled in organic geometry.

The model is really nice! Especially the one with the coat looks very good!
I saw a hires texture for the cap before, but yours i much better as I can judge from the pic.
Also the other textures are very quality!
I want to see them released! :P

I believe the feeling is shared.
Glad to see you're still around this community, except some names I happen to remember, the old members seems away.

The look sweet, but why Nazis? I mean, if you're making them for a mod where they'll be enemies it's okay, but if you're just doing it for practice... Couldn't you do some cool looking American soldiers?

Why Nazis?

Why the fuck not Nazis?

And, why American soldiers anyways? There's plenty of models out there, just rip them from CSS or CoD or ArmA. A decent Nazi set is rare. =P

“I, for one, welcome our new overlords”.
I...uh mean..
I don't see why not exactly? There is plenty of use for Nazi soldiers in several mods! Americans are just overdone!

Because American soldiers are not cool looking.
Because nobody likes Nazis.
Because I love the haters to rage over my work about ethical problems.

My apologies for double posting on the thread, and for the long time without any updates (Indeed, long time)

I've been busy with serious stuff down here, so I couln't really work with my sausage lovers.
But, oh, something unusual happened today: Free time.

I rigged my SS on the Barney's skeleton, using the default Barney's anims and such. The eyes and the mouth (well, the chin) are rigged aswell.
Otherwise I've been too lazy to rig the fingers, (as the hands I'm using are more like crab pliers, they do not have any fingers to rig except the forefinger and the thumb) and the Barney's hands are way too large to fit with my arms, I tryed to use them in a first time but the result was scary.

A Svencoop 4.5 map (series ?) is on the way, maybe. I still have to pick more talented mappers to work with.
