« on: January 27, 2011, 01:40:23 PM »

Hello everyone. I'm having a strange models textures problem. The main thing is, that these textures (additive) dont apear corectly in game. Maybe someone knows how to fix it? Oh, and in hlmv textures apear CORRECTLY. My half life is in version 1111 (i think) I attached some screenshots (slave light), (m4a1 aiming dot)

Put both files from the attached archive into your Half-Life folder.

Lexi, that's what I've done, and I get a message like "Failed to load engine DLL".
What's going on? :|
It broke my game X(

That's strange, never heard of this. Make sure it's in correct folder.

It is in the halflife folder. It asked me whether to replace the DLLs, so I clicked 'Yes'.

Sorry that I ask when I could find out myself, but You know any trusted sources?
It's just I'm being panicky about my PC security and don't want any fake or broken updates...

This is one of these I trust. That should do.
Try it and tell me if it worked.
By the way, added you to my Steam friends, if you don't mind.

That one You linked didn't work, at the end if announced 'Not Found', but I risked it and re-typed the name on Google and picked one from FilePlanet. Well, some things are really worth the risk. I'll tell You in a moment whether it works or not...

It's OK about Steam. Luckily I have the same name there as here. Although the 'module' below isn't even working for me. I added You 'back' as well :)

Yes! YES!!! Thank You SO MUCH! :D The risk was worth it after all ;)
