Error compiling the hl.dll file
« on: March 08, 2011, 02:33:15 AM »

Hi, I don't know where to post this, so I'm posting it here. Anyway, I'm trying to compile an hl.dll for a mod I'm making, but for some reason I can't. I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and when I try to compile, 514 errors and 168 warnings appear in the error list. I've copied the output to the file I've attached.

Any idea of what's happening?

Are you using unmodified code from the SDK? If you are, you might want to use an updated version of the code that works with the latest version of Visual Studio (this works with Visual Studio 2008).

I'm using the Half-Life SDK 2.3, the only change I made to the code was to add a new weapon, but that's it.

EDIT: The updated version of the SDK you uploaded works! Thank you, now this thread can be closed.
