I think Cappie is now about to set the world record for the longest continuous running gamers forum.
Running for over 10 years now.  ;D

Which reminds me .. about 7 or 8 years ago he gifted me a HL2 DLC via steam. I forgot to say thanks for that..
I might be late .. but .... Thanks Chris !!

By answering the question "is HIT dead" with yes, does that make the answer no?

Holy crap almost a year to the day that I decide to check back. Weird.

I agree, it's great that it's still up.

Well the number of posts has dramatically picked up in the last few weeks.

Could this mean HIT is coming back from the dead ? .. Is a final release of HL:E imminent ?  :o

I'm really surprised that, and appreciative for, these forums maintaining their history. Honestly, I shudder when viewing most of my older posts but some of the releases and what-not can't be found anywhere else online. Props to everyone keeping this place what it is/was and everyone else for being a part of it.

A big cheers to Cappie for keeping HIT alive for so long.  ;)

I'm using HIT to show people what happens to semi-abandoned forums

The spiders have taken over.

It's also a great historical archive.

Well semi destroyed, still no idea where the omg folder went as it contained everything.
Still a bad lesson to me regarding keeping backups

Well, i did sort of backup bits and pieces here and there.
It's not much (if any, even), but i hope somebody got something out of this.
