Drax, if you look at the texture on the HL1 model you'll see that the seam is meant to be there.

I'll look into that one tonight... it should be chromed.

This was one of the first models i cpnverted so i never really included bumpmaps and more advanced options like chrome.

Why does the hev glove appear black and not slightly chromatized?

have I missed something about chrome either not showing up in in-game shots or is chrome on the glove material a no-no for HL:S:HD?

'k... from what I've heard LCD monitors are not the best at reproducing very thin lines, so maybe that's the cause of the shimeryness of it on my screen.  I take it it's supposed to look like a groove in the metal running down the body of the crowbar...

Yeah, I think it was done to accenuate the edges and make it look a bit more polished

Ok ive managed to add normal maps and adjust VMT's today during morning tea :)

I'll have to wait till later on tonight so that i can test them and update the existing model with the newer textures :)

No smitting allowed, lol.  Back on topic nonetheless.

I have posted a tenative announcement about a "Bonus Pack" (to include some of these models) in the News thread.  I think this crowbar would be a natural addition.  Is there anything left you have to do to it Flynia?

Good god dont do that. But anyway, I'm glad to see this out for HL:S and of course I'll be using. As I mentioned, its always been my favorite crowbar.
