Fat als Gibs pack

These gibs would seriously enhance even the tiniest details of HL: S.

I'm sure we all have a hundred things we wish we had time for, lol.  Your pack is already a vast improvement over the originals, any additional improvements you make would just be bonus!

Huzzah!!!  The more realistic or plentiful the gore the better.  It's a crying same that you can't gib humans and headcrabs in Half-Life 2!

I'm looking at some of the gibs more indepth after beta.  It seems they do not "gib" correctly.  The default gibs bounce and slide all over, the converted gibs just stick the first place they land.

I'm guessing the default  gibs were compiled as physics models, having weight, mass, etc.  When I ever get time I will add all that to Fat_Als gibs also, so they behave correctly ingame.  We have to have well behaved gibs you know.

Ah well, at least they look better.  ;D

I've had a look under the gibs folder in "Half-Life Source.gcf" in "root\hl1\models\Gibs" and the only gibs that appear to have phy models are the:

hgibs and agibs the other gibs files are all in the "root\hl1\models" directory.

I know this is very vague... but i hope it can be of some assistance.

It is of assistance.  Those are the ones I was most disappointed in after I converted them.

I'll try and go over those particular two tonight.
