Now that would be a nice addition, but I'm a little hesitant to get my hopes up on that one.

You don't need to decompile maps to add HDR effect.

Bloom in the end will be easier to add rather HDR, Bloom's basis of well bloom is based completely on the lighting currently there. How thats would be done is beyond me atm, but Gary's Mod may have the key.

But it would require recoding to actually apply the shader =\ which we dont have the source code....

I guess the easiest thing to do is what for the Lost Coast and Aftermath SDK updates, with Aftermath releasing soon I doubt it will be too long before the implementation of bloom and HDR will be overly complicated. but I guess we'll see.

although we could wait until VALVe updates css with hdr since they might update all their source games with hdr
(hl1 with hdr  :D that would make my day)

Just to let everyone know the Beta SDK update has been released giving access to HDR for modifications. To access it, add -beta sdk to your Steam shortcut when you next launch it.  8)

Yeah, I still haven't figured out a way of implementing of HDR yet.  There is an HDR button under RAD when you compile, every light has HDR values you can set...

hmm i really should get to adding updated health and hev rechargers to the map (thats if im still doing it =p and that way i can add hdr =p....later)
