[Map] Condition Zero Deleted Scenes : Operation Ordnance

After poking and bashing my Valve Hammer Editor enough, it decided it would finally compile maps for CZ : DS so I set about creating a custom mission for it. You play as the SAS in London rushing to defeat a team of terrorists who have placed an explosive device in the houses of parliament. I wrote some cheesy dialogue for the intro map (A truck journey) which the very talented 3p!demic will be recording for me.

Listen up boys, this is an extremely volatile situation we have on our hands, so let’s cut the normal shit and get straight to the point. We have a bomb situation on our hands, and this isn’t some “Give us our demands or we’ll blow up this corner shop” crap either. Terrorists have managed to plant a highly explosive device somewhere in the Houses of Parliament and are threatening to blow it up if we don’t meet their demands in 24 hours. We already have one confirmed death on our hands after the negotiator was shot dead half an hour ago, so let’s keep this short, sharp and swift. The terrorists themselves are holed up elsewhere in an office nearby, most likely with hostages. Sorry to be so vague boys, but this is all we know. Let’s go over our plan of entry.

One, Johnson, Miles and I shall enter through the side entrance and storm the west wing of the building. Morse, Green and Rockwell will enter through the back entrance and scourge the area for targets while also searching for any possible hostages. Two, find out who has the remote control detonator and eliminate him. I don’t think I need to tell you that this will need to be a stealth kill. Thirdly, you will need to radio the Bomb Squad team to give them the all clear for entry. Good luck lads.

So, if you haven't fallen asleep due to the unhealthy intake of lol after reading that, here are some early shots from the intro.

By the way, you might have to turn your brightness up on the monitor (It's easier to see ingame)









If you're wondering what those yellow things are in the third picture, it's where bullets have penetrated the truck and light is streaming through

neat.. but are they holding a bunch of flashlights up to the truck? why are the light beams facing different directions?

Probably because bullets won't penetrate the truck all with the same orientation.

it doesnt matter how the bullets penetrate the truck though... so long as theres only one light source the lights should all be going the same direction.. also depending on how thick the truck is and how powerful the light is.... the only difference the direction of penetration would make is how long the light beam would be... light wouldnt follow the bullet..
