We're releasing some updates for RE:CB soon. The updates address the following issues -

- The MP5 and M4 now use their W Models when dropped
- Players CAN respawn, so long as they collect Ink Ribbons. Maximum of 3 Ink Ribbons per player, 1 Ink Ribbon per respawn
- Added the RE:CB commands to the Main Menu Keyboard Options
- Players now say "Follow Me!" in the AdLib system : It was not working before
- Added a vague inventory type system
- Added the options to turn off lag-inducing features easily
- New healing system. Picking up a healing item adds it to your inventory for future use. You can then use the herbs or first aid spray when you like
- Added ability to use Red and Green herbs mixed together
- RECB_Subway will be VASTLY extended
- You can now select weapons through the inventory if you like =P


In other news, we would like to remind the community that the RE:CB .fgd file is available for download from the ModDB page at

Are you guys going to add lickers(those monster things in the Resident Evil games) in the future? As I feel that there are not enough monsters in the game currently...

How about also making zombies that have legs still crawl at you?

Maybe you should slow down the movement speed cause its really too fast...

Once the path to the security room (and the room itself) are finished, it's time to add all the triggers for the puzzles, zombie spawns, guns, and scumlines will be ready to go.  ;D

It might not be as long as my BB maps, but it'll be a fairly large map.  I'm still working on the objectives (design phase), trying to make sure that they make sense, aren't too boring, and aren't going to be too easy or difficult.

That being said, the grey area shows the part of scumlines that was released a while back, the back area (well lines...) shows what I've been adding to it since then.



edit: I don't think anyone noticed the shadows that I got the rails to cast... and that's a 2d texture on a func_wall brush. =p

So...How soon can we expect the updates? Im not asking you to rush it...just wanna know when..

Have you fixed the sv_lan 1 problem? Its making people not be able to create servers because they dont know about it...

Isolation is going through the painful stage of finding a leak >_< so that might be a awhile and I have begun work on my newest map Recb_Deepwater. The screen shot is alot older now that Ive added more stuff but this is the general look of what the front of the boat will look like.

But then, in other mods like svencoop when u host its already set on sv_lan 0 ....I guess u have to create some listenserver.cfg but i dont know...

Anyway, if it is not a problem then nevermind...

Well considering they lack the surplus weight of their legs, they can crawl much faster.  Plus its the added OSHITITSHUMPINGMYLEG effect that wins.
