Here's a very common scenario; You join server, it has about 3 other people in it, 1 of which actually co-operates and uses teamwork, the other 2 are complete rambos. They take all the ammo, all the herbs and sprays, all the guns, and then get themselves mauled by a zombie dog, reconnect, and start over. No guns for you, or the 1 person who co-operates.

Currently, there is no limit on the amount of weapons and ammo you can hold at once, allowing ammo hoggers to run rampant. The limit should be; 2 pistols, 3 or 4 mags each, 1 primary weapon, 2 clips. It makes sence. No-one wants to be unarmed on recb_darkwoods, not with that many dogs.

That might stop weapon/ammo whoring actually ... which is a good thing.

And it would make teamwork more necessary, because if you're carting round a 9mil like the Browning and you face say a Tyrant, you'd better fuggin pray another member is nearby and packing something .50AE +

You should also make it that when u already have a gun u cant pick up the same gun again...

Maybe instead of limiting it so that you can only carry so many weapons, how about a weight limit instead? each item could have a weight value, and you cannot go over max weight limit

That would make sense, seeing as they're already ranked by power in that. If you gave the player a weight limit of, say, 20, that would be something like one rocket launcher OR two handguns OR a machine gun and a melee weapon...

Looting your pals' corpses would work.. You get a gui when pressing e that is his/her former inventory and steal all the stuff!

I like the idea of the weapon limiting, not so sure about the weight idea to be honest, I think weapon limiting would work better.

I just suggested it because it would make things a bit more even, two pistols or 1 rifle seems a bit more fair to me than some one being able to have 2 rifles and someone else with 2 pistols

Nah I mean like 1 pistol then one of another weapon (not another pistol). Like an M4 or Remington.

I'm sure after 10 days since last post, no one wants to hear the opinion of someone who just joined the forums. However, I think along with BiscuitDude's opinion, have a melee weapons limit as well. I don't enjoy scrolling between four completely different melee weapons I pick up sometimes, especially since nobody seems to want them. One is sufficient.

Also, Can you create a way to drop ammo you pick up for guns you don't have? It's just annoying when you or somebody else accidentally picks up shotgun shells and the guy behind you has the empty shotgun.
