You're welcome.

Man, I can't hear them. Does this work on a burned CD, or do I have to install WON? Rather confused here.

No, you have to extract the MP3s to your "\gearbox\media" folder. Steam will play them itself but it'll only work for the Steam version. Make sure they're read-only, though, or they'll be overwritten with the regular HL tracks. Steam likes to overide anything in its way with its own MP3s. Strange that this only happens for the MP3s, though. The only way I've found around it so far is to make the files read-only so that Steam can't override them. Also make sure your MP3 volume is turned up in your audio->options menu. Besides that, I don't think there's any way to disable music so it should work if you've checked all that.

You could burn them as an audio CD but you've have to get the track order right (use the cd track chart). If the CD is in the drive while you play it should use your audio CD instead of using any MP3s. I recommend going just the MP3s in the "\gearbox\media\" folder route, though.

So all the files must be renamed depending on what mod?

Depending on either Half-Life or OP4/BS, if I understand you correctly.

(Inaccurate information snipped)

Uh dude, whatever program you used called up for the wrong CD. It's Chris Jensen and Stephen Bahl, and the track names are... well, I honestly don't know where they came from.

I mean, tracks 13-19 should've been a tipoff that the CD is wrong. I've had a Sonic R redbook be mistaken for Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Time to stop using WMP. :P

Good to see this still available. I've since long lost the old domain I had and all the files with it. I have everything backed up, of course....somewhere. But good to see it's here.
