Werewolf's SD Textured Barney

Had a chat with WereWolf and he didn't mind if I made a Submission on this

Given the right Bump-mapping, Normal-mapping etc effects, I reckon this will look Godlike on the Source engine..

It's just because there's a LOT of detail in each texture.

They look better up close and fine in-game.

Do you remember there was a reflective/glowing effect in HL²!
(It was used for the rebels spraypaint.)
I think it would be nice if we can add this effect on the SECURITY font on the back...

I have to say that the kevlar on the vest looks great but the metal plates on the front lookt way too much like stone or concrete, even in-game and with HLMV.

hmmm... I can see what you mean, but I tried to use a stong highlight with some scratches to make it look like the metal had become slightly tarnished over time.  I may have used a bit to much noise on it too...

I guess it's just a learning process...
