Blue shift unlocked player hands
« on: November 13, 2006, 10:09:36 PM »

IN BS Unlocked, the player has the gordon/HEV hands, not the barney hands. Please tell me how can I fix that.

The only reason you would have HEV hands is because you did something wrong somewhere along the line when installing it. Not HIT's fault.

I haven't said it is a HIT's fault.
I'm glad to read that this has a solution. So, what have I done wrong? With a simple reinstallation can this be fixed?

Alright, if that isn't what you meant, fair enough. Anyway, download a pak exploration program, such as Pakscape or Pakexplorer and extract the models folder from your Blue-Shift .pak file.

I'm using the steam version, so I can't find the pak files.

I also installed a HD version of the barney hands, but it didn't worked.

Problem solved

Are you using the HD pack installed from Steam? I know that used to cause model replacement problems when it first came out.
