Blah, the textures on that Glock look really bland. Apart from that, it's all looking great!

I've been waiting for part 2 of their media release.  Looks absolutely stellar, and they are sticking with the original look of the game... just x 1k the detail.

I'm with you there. I can't wait to see the beauty of Xen. That place has always had so much potential to be awesome. =D

Very true... I would like it to be smoother in a lot of the areas... But we will see how it is ingame...

Why would you want to play an alpha version? Might wanna rethink that one.

Oh and on the grunt render, it's labeled as "high-poly". Like, it's probably not what you will see ingame.

a lower poly one will probably be done, then the high poly one should be mapped the exact same and used as bake lighting/ normal maps

Yeah, the MP5 doesn't even resemble the gun, it's as if they took bits and pieces of SiN Episodes's shotgun and put a grenade launcher under it.

The second screenshot from inbound reminds me more of a subway station or airport than the Black Mesa transit system.

The team said they wanted some artistic license to reflect the fact that its set in the future.
I hope they make this bit less annoying - in HL the whole timing was really tight, like a Doom "puzzle".
