There won't be a sound board. There just aren't enough releases to merit it. Sounds that are released can go to GldSrc or Source Mod release sections. Sorry Mischief.

OT is now Conversation and Other Threads and Game News.

Game News is for ... news that relates to all video games. Putting Game News in two release child boards is stupid. You shouldn't be posting in the Mod boards unless you're discussing your mod plans/WIP/asking for help/recruiting or releasing your mod (which may, sometimes, be doubled posted to Game News).

Discussion about mods (troubleshooting, walkthroughs, etc) can be discussed in its engine forum or, perhaps, the Game News when there is an update/release thread.

The difference between the Mod and Game News section is obvious? Mod sections are for development and feedback and Game News is for discussion about the news.

Maybe if there are like a hundreds of sound releases.

Most sound releases are replacements/modifications of current sounds anyhow so they'll work in Mod Releases. While the same could be said about models as well (no one really makes map/texture replacements) most are single releases and only have intentions to replace one element of the game. If anyone is working on HUGE model/sound/2D/whatever replacement packs then you're invited to post them in the Mods area. But, these packs need to be completely overwriting a lot of the game, and creating a new or improved experience (please don't color all the HL characters purple and think it's a mod). So this is up to the authors' best judgment.
