Windows Installer Directory
« on: April 16, 2007, 01:34:26 AM »

A couple of weeks ago I had a hard drive error that made windows impossible to access. I managed to fix this problem and still keep most of my old files. However, a bunch of old programs and setups are not recognized by the computer even though they are installed. I discovered that if I deleted the old directories and reinstall, it will work just find. I really need to find the old directory for the windows installer program (can't use Framework, GCFScape, 3ds Max, other important programs).
I've already downloaded the new Windows Installer program but the installation will be worthless until I get rid of the old directory. If you guys can direct me to the usual directory for this, hopefully my idea will fix the problem and I will be very thankful or if somebody can give me suggestions for the computer to read the programs already installed, that would be just as good, even better.
