Make sure you install it to the right directory. The same thing happened to me but I realised it hadnt installed to the steam folder correctly.

The game itself is pretty good. Really does push the boundries of the HL engine. The levels are a little bit annoying sometimes in that it doesnt always seem clear where I am supposed to be going.

The gameplay is okay...quite boring after a while. The only real thing that keeps me going is the buildup to the firefights..Also I trapped myself in a dark room, and since the damn flashlight is bugged I can't see where I'm going :/

Also the A.I seems worst than the Half-Life Grunts.

Doesn't seem to be for anybody else. Certainly wasn't for me.

By the way, just a heads up:

The Opengl32.dll file is detected by VAC as a hack. Make sure you reinstall the old original HL dll when you want to play online.

I just completed it.
Really, really, really enjoyed playing it. The game starts to get fucking scary when you are in the science facility. The zombies are horrifically fast. The AI is a little dodgy in places but didnt detract from the overall feel of the game for me. Had such a blast playing this game. Developers should learn that you can have team-mates in a horror game and it will still be scary.

Made me jump once or twice.  Not many games can make me do that.  It was well worth the wait and download.

Kind of reminded me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. meets SWAT 4.  haha

One small thing though, the metal music that plays gets repetitive and irritating after a long period of time, and the fact you can't turn it off came to be a bit annoying.  I'm not saying it was bad by any means, I'm a huge metal fan from Finntroll to Entwine, but it's some constructive criticism.

It was wicked short..but god damn it was excellent :)
id give it a 8/10, just because well like I couldn't switch my weapons right, even though I was pressing the 1,2,3..and etc keys to change them it wouldn't work.
Then the Metal music is repetitive, A.I. is kind of bland, but over all pretty good graphical spectacular, i thought this was for source at first, and i loved the voices, and at the end though the story line kind let it down, a lot of running around, very short, but none the less good.
