Awesome, looks like you are using models well.

Although the paint overlay is usually used to mark health and ammo respawns.

Woo looks even nicer then when you where starting  ;D.
Can't wate for this to get finished.
BTW Killer This is offtopic but their is already a Wii Shotgun Zapper like the one you created known as Wii Blaster but its not made by Nintendo (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802669) and it doesnt not work as good as the Wii Zapper. Also it has had about 125 3 Star and under ratings.

That's not even close to my design, it's even worse than the official Zapper.  My design would correct all awkwardness because you'd hold it like you would naturally hold a gun.  But this discussion needs to be saved for another topic.

Just a small update for the map, I've got the other smaller building all sculpted out and textured, and now I'm about half-way done sculpting out the barracks building.  Once I get everything layed out correctly and a few props everywhere so it doesn't look absolutely horrible, I'll need some people to help me playtest it for a while, so I can see if the layout makes it fair for both teams, where I should place health and ammo pickups, etc, and then to bare with me if something changes and I need to test it again.  After I've got the results I want from the testing, I'll populate the map with props and decals and stuff so it looks good, and then I'll need another couple tests to see if the props changed the gameplay at all (even the slightest change in map geometry can dramatically change the average outcome), and then it should be ready for release if everything goes as planned!

Hey wow Killer, this looks really really good!  Ignore my previous comments, you obviously know what you're doing  ;)
Are you going to make a large mirrored map, or leave the original layout pretty much intact?

Fucking fantastic.

Happens every time I try to load the map, other maps load just fine.

Unless someone can help me and figure out what the problem is, the map will be discontinued.

Try renaming the .vmx file to .vmf and load that. The .vmx file is a backup made by Hammer.

What did you last change ? You might be able to manually edit the .vmf and fix it with minor damage.

Well, I've got Hammer set to autosave stuff, so there'd be stuff even before the latest backup in the autosave folder, but all of the autosaves for the file are giving me the same error, so I don't know what the problem is, since I've opened the map several times since I first started working on it, and I didn't have any problems then.

What did you last change ? Any chance a texture that you use has gone corrupted ?

If you email it me I'll gladly test it for you.

Nope, I've just been using standard TF2 textures, so that couldn't be the problem.  I can't exactly remember what I last changed, but it wasn't much, I was just adding basic world brushes to start shaping the barracks building.

I'll get to emailing the map to you right away.
