Wait, you're trying to use HL1 models in HL:S? You can't, the model files are completely different.

Yes. You can't use Goldsource (HL1, DoD, CS1.6,...) Models in Source (HL2, DoD:S, CS:S, HL:S,...)

For other problems read this:

Hey, i will try to explain it better.

I download this pack:
http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/15204

This is a pack for Half Life: Source, to add a High Definition Pack, am I right? So i tried to put all files from that pack to my HL:S folder (path is correct), but nothing happened. Maybe i download wrong package?

Just install it into the direction you can read in the readme!
You can't overwrite files in the *.gfc!

MMhm. The pack that you have downloaded is not our work, it's not HL:S:HD. It is the work of a fella here from HIT, so if after you are extracting it in to the right folder you still have troubles, contact the author, I doubth if there is anything more we can do.

Nivo, show us some screens as to what destination folder you placed the files into. We can probably help you further.

Ok my friends, thanks for your attention, here w go!

Here is my destination folder. In my High Definition Package i have folder named hl1 with directories: materials, models, sound. My task is to copy those directories into destination folder, so do I.

So this is hl1 catalogue without any changes.

And here's after copying. No effects at all

Is there a Valve folder in the HL:S folder?

If so, try that. :p

No there's no valve folder in HL:S.

In the models folder there are no subfolders! (all the files are in one folder)
But in the materials folder are. There are two: halflife (with the map textures), and models (yes again)
In the models folder there are also subfolder for the models skins.

If you have extractet all to the correct folders it should definitly work if you restart your HL:S.
If it doesn't I have no clue what you did wrong, or how to fix.
