I blame MS3D. I am sorry.

I am shocked, however. It looks fine to me. o.O

How the hell does it look fine?!

PS: Yours is the bottom one, all fugly.

you'll want to do that in the skin, not the model.

Then it wouldnt be shaded like a crystal, and like something which has smooth edges :P

Notice complete lack of sharp edges, pretty unusual with objects made of metal, aint it?. Also the weird shadows around the openings (ie the ejection port), they look like they are cast by some invisible objects, or at best, make the whole thing look like a badly glued-together paper model :P

edit: lol, Editor, you beat me to it

Oh.

*shrug*

The top of the receiver isn't really visible, the stock completely blocks it. But, yeah. I see.

Like I said, it's MS3D's fault. *shrug* Besides, if you aren't staring at it (which you shouldn't be, if you're getting shot at), it's unnoticeable. :s

Would it be possible to get a version with the stock pulled back?

Well, we don't want ot delete the stock of the SPAS, you could moreover select the vertices of the stock and rotate it.

I'd do it now, but I'm afk from my home laptop.

Yeah. I think that's an option on the original model. Or was that Lamarr's...

It was.

Also a fixed stock option. (Ala The Matrix "Lobby Scene")

Chances are you won't see it unfolded anyway, hence why I suggest just deleting it and leaving the smoothing intact. On the original "deployed" version, you can't see the stock.

Oh, well that's what I meant. A version without the stock. Methinks it would look really neat.

I'm just resmoothing it from scratch at the moment because I want the spas 12 mirrored correctly. Having the ejection port on the left side doesn't look nice. Silly CS weaponry. ;D

I changed the stock so its deployed, but as already mentioned you can't see it so I'll remove it. Plus these textures were only designed for the stock to be folded so it would not look right anyway.

Great job ruM :) Can you post the ms3d with the smoothing groups, when you're done?

MS3D resmoothed refs attached. The heat shield (which was fun to resmooth!) might have an error or two simply because some polys were overlapping each other, which I assume was an error on the authors behalf, and I fixed about 95% of the texture misalignments. Though I might have missed something.

Very nice.

I kept it mirrored incorrectly because... well... I just kinda like seeing something other than the pump moving. :P
