Setting NPC Sides(HL:S)?
« on: July 01, 2008, 01:31:34 AM »

Hey guys, sorry about starting off my very first post with a question(let alone start a freakin topic!), but I'll get right to the point.
Is it possible for me to set npc allies and enemies through the console, or do I have to create a whole mod(or something).
I have experience with C++ language but I've never tried experimenting with Source. If anyone can help, it's greatly appreciated!
BTW, I'm loving the HD mod! <insert supersmilesmiley here>. Thanks people!

Sorry to double post, but I gonna have to assume that it's not possible.  :'(
If anyone does answer this topic with a solution, I'll try to respond.
BTW, thank you to the people who took a look at this topic, I appreciate it.  ;D

Hello, and welcome to the forums "R0CKET B0MB".

I don't think you can change NPC properties during the game in Half-Life: Source. They simply not coded that way. Valve didn't provided the code for Half-Life: Source, but that doesn't means you can't port stuff from original Half-Life (or from something else).
