Another Milkshape 3D problem.

Ok now I've got another problem with milkshape 3D. Whenever I open a .ms3d file either by going to file -> open or double clicking the file, I end up with the little console at the bottom getting flooded with this:

Error loading texture "..\render_grey_highlight1.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_highlight1.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_highlight1"
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_highlight2.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_highlight2"
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_highlight3.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_highlight3"
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_midtone1.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_midtone1"
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_shadow1.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_shadow1"
Error loading texture "..\render_grey_shadow2.bmp": could not open file [1290].
Error downloading material: "render_shadow2"

It does it with all of the .ms3d files that I open, not just my mp5. Strangely, it doesn't do it with .smd files  ???
Any help I can get is greatly appreciated ;)

Edit: My textures were 24 bit bmps. I just changed them to 8 bit and it works just fine now. That's pretty messed up since it worked before with 24bit.
