I have been absent from mapping for quite a while now and as I decided to try a bit of Unreal 1 mapping I have experimented around with the UnrealED and watched some video tutorials.

So I am showing my work of my very first UT map called CTF-Deadlock. The whole map was build within 2 days. It's still not finished but it is at let's say 80%. Fine tuning needs to be done  ;)

The skybox was copied from DOM-Condemned because I like it very much and it fits perfectly in the map  ;D

Found a Glock 17 with rail I did for something eons ago (maybe RECB?) on 512's and decided to just throw together some addons for it.  Some are fictional, some aren't.  Suppressor and a Red Dot (Aimpoint? I'm a huge unfunny manchild, do not listen to me., for giggles) to come.




And wires. Total thus far is sub 6k (for all parts, together, even though they wont all be able to be put on together buh).


Got a sneaking suspish that I've done the rail too small and thus the Aimpoint is too small in proportion to the gun ... can fix I guess ...

e: gonna agree with you on the rail looking too small, SS. Also, I noticed that the rail blocks the ejection port. I think. Not that it matters in a video game, but still.

I decided to make an Sven Coop 2 styled Tor.

Chrome overlay and a decontrast? Looks nice.

No, phong, bumpmaps, and rimlighting. plus a couple texture filters on the texture itself.

The rail I agree on I think I can fix, however the rail mount is pretty ok position wise.  Most mounts I've seen look like that anyhoo.
