Making textures transparent
« on: December 21, 2008, 08:47:19 PM »

What am I supposed to do with the part which I want to make invisible? I've tried a lot of things and nothing worked. Help, please.

If I remember right you put the colour you want transparent as the last colour in the 256 pallet. After which it'll be transparent when you turn the option on.

IF I remember correctly, it's 0, 0, 256. Or, at least, blue.

Nah that's for mapping, it really doesn't matter what colour the transparency is it just has to be the last in the pallet

Thanks.
I guess it's a lame question, but how can I find out which color is the last?

Something like this:

And the last entry should be an RGB color value like
0 0 255
0 255 0
255 0 0

Some programs have the color palette reversed, so either the top left or bottom right square will have to be the purple color used for transparencies.
