Will the weapons act realistically?

Will there be free-aim?(see Red Orchestra or Resistance and Liberation to see what I mean)

Yes, the weapons will be realistic.  Weapons will recoil as they would do in real life, bullet ballistics will be realistically modelled, and of course we will have ironsights.
Realism is one of the tenets of this mod.

If you give the mod free-aim, make sure it's GOOD free aim, like RO or Insurgency's, not ARMA's.

Arma is an military simulation.

You can move your head around.

Get IR Tracker. Or just turn off Head-Turning and Free-Aim

If you think you can commit to do some work, you would be more than welcome to join the team!  I know you're a pro mapper ;)
Even if you decide to just make one map, that would be fine.  Basically our first release only needs 3 to 5 maps in total (including my own) which will be set in wilderness regions (will explain more in PM if you're interested).

We will be trying to foster a custom mapping community too, so mappers would be able to set things in a variety of locations.  I'm going AFK for a week, I don't really have time to elaborate any farther at the moment, will try and get more info up in a week.  In the meantime Toadie should be able to keep you guys posted for news :)

I should add, nice archways :O

Some updated pictures of the map I'm working on (see attached)

Fredy is also on the team now, and is working on a map which will be linked to this one.  Watch this space for more media / news.  I'll let the other team members spill the beans on their own work...

Skyboxes can't be animated. Though, objects in it can, like clouds, etc.

Surely an animated VTF would work.
