Firearms 3.0 looking weapons have been changed slighty since my last vid. Contains less quiet. Also I need to find out what is required to release it. Might do other mods (HoE, DC, CSCZ, SBO, BB, NS, AoM:DC, Invasion) if I'm not so busy this week with school projects.

Also Vlod nice pumper. Like how you can see the finger on the trigger a little bit, unlike the similar shotgun with a buttstock for HL1 where you can't see it at all which kind've looks weird. I can't complain because I have an airsoft pumper with no stock and I barely see the heatsink anyway.
Also FoN that mask looks freaky! You should get a chainsaw with that.
Also gi777 yes I was trying that movie 10 ways to look noob on SC but I'm not done. I might need more actors and maybe some guys with microphones for voice acting though on the weekend.
Also Nige I miss that game that I totally sucked at. Where's my capture card that I'm certain JTV works with....

I've got a LD OpFor pack.
Not sure I can release it tho, considering I used some CS models. Yes, CS1.6.
And the shotgun secondary fire won't work properly unless you play on a server with dual burst on. Or just don't use autofire.
CS1.6 M4 converted into a M16A4 and mirrored properly. Paired with SC4 default M16 anims and Stoke's M203.

No, a LD pack. Gearbox/Valve didn't do any M16s/M4s so I figured "Hey CS is LD, rite?"
Everything else is various LD models from either very ooolde areas, or CS1.6.

I always liked LD because I used it for years before ever knowing about HD and the huge modding community. I loved LD's charm with the idle animations and its classic feel. However, SD LD lookalikes can be just as good imo...except for idle amimations. I miss those.

Actually not a bad idea, I kinda want to make a pack for OpFor too...A lot of OFR and DD's pack just didn't suit my taste. Custom content ftw! Do you use the default sounds too or no?
I think my BS pack has been my first real 'work' with modding...albeit I've mainly used others' work, I've replaced a majority of the sprites with my own stuff. I made the suit icon look like HL:E's HUD promo…LD is great.
But I digress ;P

Here's what I did - I took the LD pack someone made for SC, extracted the necessary OpFor models, haxx'd up the M16 + OpForized the various new weapons, then spent a while tweaking + cleaning up everything else. Smoothing those that needed it, etc.
So, yeah, default sounds, including the CS M4 sounds.

Honestly I like the arms mesh the best of the big 3. It's common, easy to smooth, and looks relatively nice, despite the lack of polies. And it looks like my arms the most.

Edit: Harry didn't fuck up the bake, I fucked up on not flipping the green channel of the normal map. Update pic with fix.

Was flicking through folders and found some of the TSHD stuff I worked on. Felt like hacking something up for OpFor. Might reskin twinke's M203 (shown) to match the rest of the 'style'. 40mm by me, tried to get it to look shiny metal like and match style but eh.
And yes, clippage. May or may not fix as it's not a massive issue considering how its viewed in FP.
