In case this isn't included yet. There is a crossfire reskin pack in FPSbanana. This would do good in HD pack for hldm:s and hl:s if any of these textures are used in SP. I haven't got legit, and that's why i post so some one can ask for this pack. http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/28283

Ditto. If these textures are ripped out from the source materials.gcf, shouldn't we report this?

I have to compare it with the original first! I don't like the bunker texture from the screenshots, I'm sure I can find a better one. But like said above Half-Life² Textures are a no-no!

Surely you could just edit the VMT files to refer to HL2 textures in the Materials.gcf? That way you could use HL2 textures without extracting them; which I think would be perfectly legal, since no actual HL2 content is being distributed outside of the GCF.

lol true. I'm pretty sure everyone has a permanent home for HL2 on their HDD (thats my admiral nelson emoticon) What you could do is use the Source Tools to make a MOD which uses the HL:S and SourceMaterials.GCF You could store it in \SourceMods\HLS_HD\ Within the folder for that mod would be gameinfo.txt In this file you can specify which GCF files to use

And if you own HL:S but not HL²? I think hl:s includes materials.gcf Anyway. If you haven't already. Ask Stone for his HD pack. Not for models but for the texture replacements. They look very nice and makes hl:s look like what hl:s should be like.

No it's not. Half-Life: Source installs all the necessary Source Engine files it needs.

It was more in vein of the concept that someone has steam installed without OWNING Half-Life2. Seriously, anyone that owns Half-Life Source definitely has their hands on Half-Life2.

You sure that you can't buy HL:S only with a credit card?
